Default Ready to buy a 2nd bike, what's the best deal?

Hi,

I'm ready to buy my 2nd bike, and I want an EG Standard. I want to buy brand new[&:]

Local dealership has one, a Red sunglow that they want 16,995 out the door. This just seems WAY too high for me.

Where's the best deal? I want the EG standard, as I can install my own stereo etc.

Thanks in advance,

~Joe

$16,995 is MSRP. As the "out the door" price it sounds pretty good. If that's WAY too high, maybe you should look at eBay or craigslist.

I agree, that is not a bad price OTD for that color. If you want cheaper look at vivid black or start looking at used.

You really aren't going to do any better than the OTD price you were quoted.I'dcheck the used market. Lots of clean, low mileage are available.

Not a bad price, but if you're really serious about price, shop used. You can make some great buys now on very, very low mileage scoots. Don't be hung up on buying new, just to say you got a new bike. One Saturday, and 500 miles later, it's used anyway. Shop around before locking in on a new model. Same advise I gave my sons. One bought a new 999 Ducati, the other a brand new Ducati Super Sport. Go figure. Oh, and my last purchase, a brand new Road King....Now has 60,000 miles on it. What do I know? CCRyder
