i know there are some of you that have changed over from the custom bagsto painted hard bags. my question is this how do you bags fit around the seat( assuming you have a stock seat). i just put a pair on my bike and they rub just a bit right under the seat, just the lid right in front of the forward latch is the customs seat wider than others? did you use any spacers to move the brackets?

 

just go ahead and get a new seat there is a ton of better seats my wife has the same bike and she has a corbin and loves it she had a le pair like it too. we are thinking about hard bages also

 

I put hard bags on my RK. Evenwith the mounts angled so that the bags are to the rear as far as possible, my stock seat still makes about 1 1/2" of contact with the lids. I have to sorta 'tuck' the lids under the seat to close 'em. I've had 'em on for a few years and there isnt any sign of the paint wearing off the corners of the lids.

 

framer that just what i've got goin on i'm think'n i'll space the front mount out 1/2" and see if it helps
