Default V & H Pro pipe mod

My local Indy dyno shop has a mod for the V & H Pro pipe that works for them - drill a 5/16" hole in the center of the pipe plug. Takes a long drill bit but can be done without
removal for both hp and tq gains.

No kidding. I should be able to put down an extra 20-30 torque just having that guy dyno my bike.

Holy Schmoly!! I have tried to read as many of the 524 pages that I could. Just too much great info!

What I have is a 2007 RK Police with 103/6 spd, SERT and what looks like the Basani megaphones and stock head pipes. Within the last 3 months it was dyno tuned at 85 HP and 106 TQ. I have the dyno sheet, will post it when I get it from my shop. From what I can tell, that's pretty much standard numbers for that bike.

What I'm wanting to know, is if I move up to 107 ci with ported heads and woods 777 cams and the PCV tuner, will it be worth the added expense? I've been told that I should be in the 120/120 neighbor hood with the right exhaust. I prefer the deeper sound and the looks of the true duals, which ones work better, Rinehardts or Freedoms?

Thanks for the help.

That's why I have mine set to 40 posts per page. Instead of it being 524 pages, it's 131. Of course its the same number of posts, but it just sounds a lot less intimidating.

I went with the power duals because the true duals took away too much being as though I drive over a mountain everyday to/from work. I changed over and not only did it give me back my low end torque, it made the sound MUCH deeper and maintained the dual exhaust look, which like you, I wanted. I don't think I can go back to anything else.

@terryrh...would that be the vance and hines power duals? Which slipons did you use?
Seems that they only fit 2009 and newer.

Thanks.

Bob, pleased to help - here ya go! Hopefully this version will stay put!

Default Star Racing S&S 124 LC dyno results

Graham - thanks for getting the dyno run posted for me. One of the things that I like most about this S&S 124 is the "easy start" cams - stock starter is used and no compression releases are needed. Also, Geo. Smith/S&S and Geo. Bryce/Star Racing go
way back in racing ventures together.
