Fork Baffles
I know there have been many post on this, but no real conclusions.
Is putting the air baffle on an 04 to 08 Bagger going tomake the engine run hotter?
I live in New Hampshire, run lowers on my RG,,,,,,would it be a mistake to
put the baffle on?

Funny I was just searching through threads earlier on the fork baffels. Just put on a Clearview 8" recurve and still getting alot of wind in the glasses. Came to the conclusion that it is coming up from under. From what I have read the reviews are mixed on if it will cause less air to get to the engine. But one good point was brought up. If it is potentially damaging to have it on, the MoCo would have some kind of disclamier with it.

Your RG comes stock with the air baffle. It uses two easily accessible screws to mountso try it with and without and see what you think. \\;

From the 2008 Touring Models HD service manual, Section 2.18, page 2.57\\;
FLTR air dam removal
"By allowing the flow of air to pass under the fuel tank and over the cylinder heads, removing the air dam evacuates heated air and provides some relief to the rider in warmer temperatures: 70 F (21 C) or above"
"Reinstall air dam in colder weather"
