build date 08/07&nbsp\\; no problems as of yet

 

Poll not working but the manual count of 08s built prior to 1-01-08&nbsp\\;is one out of 8 or 12 percent. Keep them coming .

 

Mine must have been 1 of the first builds\\; I bought it in July '07. 8400 miles and counting, no problem yet.

 

Sept 07 no problems yet with 8000 miles on clock. headed out for 3000 mile ride this Sunday&nbsp\\;keep your fingers crossed.[:@]&nbsp\\;Think I might call the dealer and see if they can do a preemptive strike on this and change it out how.

 

12/18/07\\; 2300 miles\\; no problems to date.

Build is 08-2007, 3200 miles, no problem.

 

Build date 12/07&nbsp\\; 4500 miles, no problem.

 

Built 11/07, 3000 miles no problem yet.

 

Yup, 08 RKC, mine craped out 4 miles after I left work. As above, just sputtered and died. The dealer said that they had gotten three Police bikes in the week before (middle of June) and that this was a problem that was just starting to show up. (I do a lot of in-town riding, vibration/slow speeds??. They said they would have to backorder my part because the MoCo was "out of them" and having to produce new ones. I got lucky as they had an extra for another Police bike that had not been brought in and they fixed me up with in a week. Build date August 22, 07. 2,500 local/in town miles. Could have been a bad day if this happened while trying to merge onto interstate or when trying to clear an intersection.......Filled out NHTSA complaint form.
