RE: Adjustable Rider Backrest by Harley???
I am also getting ready to get one
local dealer is having 25% sale and I have a $50 GC
So my price should be around $200, lokking forward to it
I \\;also have the Kuryakyn heat deflectors
 \\;
My question is\\; does the fender or where ever the bracket mounts already pre drilled and ready to go?

The adjusting \\;bracket mounts to the frame at the crossmember under the seat on the left side. \\; The holes are already there. \\; The parts that are supplied with the backrest should include expanding nuts that are placed in the holes in the crossmember. A small bolt is used to expand the nuts, then removed. \\; The bracket is then mounted \\;to the crossmember/frame utilizing the expanded nuts. \\; \\;A cable runs from the bracket, through a \\;another hole in the crossmember to the rear fender where the backrest is mounted, and attaches to the backrest mounting bracket.

I did not take pictures, but I believe if you do \\;search there are some available. \\; \\;The instructions are not \\;very clear, and I used advice from others here \\;at HDF when I installed mine. \\; It took about an hour, but I was in no hurry. \\;
