Default What's the first thing to scrape on the left side???

Kickstand??? Floorboards??? For some reason when doing semi-hard left turns something is scraping. It wasn't doing it a week ago. I have had the bike on the jack trying to see what looks scraped up and I can't find anything. Can't figure out why whatever is scraping wasn't doing it last week either.

The kickstand scrapes first on the Glides.&nbsp\\; The footboard scrapes first on the right side.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

Probably the kickstand.&nbsp\\; My work bike's kickstand touches down sooner than the floor board.

Ooooo! I would think you could see. I vote for kickstand too, but would check the bottom of the muffler too. For some reason I did that once.

I checked the kickstand and the floorboards for signs of scraping and found nothing. I'll check the pipe but I don't think that is it. Still trying to figure out why it just started doing it whatever it is.

Well is it on all left turns or the same left turn.&nbsp\\; Could it be the road? Could be more comfortable on the bike and riding more aggressively?

Default RE: What'

"Just started doing it" cause YOU just got a lot more comfortable and are leaning more............most folks don't realize it when they first start doing it, but I'd bet that's the reason it just started. Kickstand on the left of a Glide.
