Congrats on the new bike.
Just picked up a new 08 electraglide standard last weekend. Traded in the Wide Glide and I love the ride of the FLH. I haven't seen the red hot sunglo but I have the crimson red sunglo and I really like the way it shines in the sun. Good dealer experience for me.
Ride Safe!

some dealers are hiding the 09's they got to get rid of the 08's first. Why would anyone buy a 08 fatboy when you could get a 09 for 15,999?

Well I picked it up tonight 09SG Love the bike. A need about 2 more inches of winshield to keep the wind noise down. I had no head bobble or watering eyes just the wind noise. If I lowerd my head a little I had no loud wind noise. can I get a 2 inch higher windshield?

Enjoy the bike man. I was very close to buying a SG but ended up going with a RG instead. I'm having a taller windshield put on also due to a lot of turbulence when I sit up straight over 55mph. Love the color too!

Congrats on the new SG.

Yes, there are several places to get taller windshields.

HD has a 6.5" windshield for around $120.

Custom FLHT Windshields has extra wide windshields at many heights.

Here are some others.

Clearview Shields

Klock Werks Kustom Cycles

Cee Bailey's - What I have.

Bert thanks for info on where to get a new windshield. They are so cheap I am going to get two or three and just try them out and see what works best.
