Not sure if I replied already. I have an '07 FLHR with 3" raised tank. To prevent the bars from hitting the tank I changed to a street slammer cover and longer risers. I plan on changing the risers to some shorter ones and go with taller bars 1-1/4" with concealed wiring.

Just recently dealt with the neck/shoulder pain issue when I bought a 2011 Road King.
I liked the Heritage style bars, but riding long distances with them was going to be impossible because of the intense burning in my neck and shoulders after a couple of hours in the saddle, so I had to do something else.

Glad to hear this worked for you. If your pain returns please think about a backrest. Ever since I added mine the intense shoulder burn went away. Lots of guys swear by them.
Ride safe.

Very happy with these, finally settled on the Wild 1 Chubby WO518 RK II bars. Not happy that these are the 6th set of bars I've had. So far I've had stock which absolutely sucked, HD 16" Fat Ape they were so-so, 14" Carlini gangster apes pretty comfortable but too wide, Harley Davidson Fat Handlebar not enough pull back, Wild 1 Chubby WO504 dresser bar very uncomfortable but looked great, Wild 1 Chubby 518 RK II look great and feel great!!!
