I love mine as well. I've had it for a few months and it only has 4k miles on it so far. I gotta find more time. .......For my seat I'm going to send mine off to mean city cycles to get redone on Oct. 1st. Other than the seat I love my roadglide.

You are a lucky man.

I was ready to pull the trigger on a 2008 and after driving to my closest dealer, they sold their last one. I put a deposit on their 1st. `09 road glide they get.

I sure do like that paint on the 105th though.

The seat is a big possibility and the bars I may have to do something with, I feel like I'm having to reach to far forward and down. Need them higher and back 1" or so and it would be good. All in good time I guess.

After riding all the demo bikes, the Road Glide was my pick, but I wanted the tour pack and all the niceties of the Ultra for my wife.... well, "she" wanted that stuff... So we ended up with the Ultra.

The RG was the best highway bike that I road. Smooth !!!

Congrats on the new bike !

Talking

I purchased a used 2008 Road Glide, 105th Anniversary. Less than 2K miles on it. PO chromed it up, and stage 1.

Cruse control at 80 MPH. Much smoother than the Ultra. Slices through the wind. No buffeting from truck wind. Were it not for my butt, I could ride all day on this bike.

Okay, let me talk about my butt. The stock saddle is good looking, but is has to go to the attic. I ordered a Mustang single with pillion. The stock seat is a 100 mile seat for me. Not even that for my wife on the back.

The handlebars could be a tad further back. I would say a bit wider too, but I don't want my hands too much out in the wind on a cold morning. Problem with changing the handlebars is that it normally requires new cables as well, and I and my bank account don't want to get into that.

Oh yea, for those who nix the 105th Anni colors of pearl copper and black, let me tell you that among the stock colors, I think it is the best. First anni colors I have really liked. And I like these a lot.

So I suppose you can tell, I am excited about my new R Glide.
