Default HogGaiters

HogGaiters are the perfect alternative to regular chaps that can be worn over the top of your rain suit to insure that your not not burning your rain suit. Plastics are a great thing for some applications but not usually around anything that is HOT. Burning holes in your rain suit is a bad thing...spending three hours cleaning the melted crap off your pipes is the part I hate...rather be riding. Check out www.hoggaiters.com .

Have the ones from Tourmaster and Extigent. Like the Extigent ones the best. The HDs are nice and you can walk with them but take up too much room and dont fiy my stinkin big feet. Just dont scoot your feet on the pavement too much or youll need more than two pair

Bought em after my first ride in rain and keep em with rain gear, used em several times, nothing is worst then starting a day with soggy & soo heavy boots.

As someone mentioned, and I'll confirm - on cold days they keep the cold air from running up your pant legs, so I use them more than just on rainy days.

I use water resistant conditioner on my boots.Between that and the lowers my feet usually stay pretty dry.If not,I can pull out some dry socks and a thow a couple of old plastic grocery bags over my feet.

I've been climbing the high peaks for thirty five years and these are the best gaiters I've ever worn, either on the peaks or over my boots and pants on the bike. Highly recommended!

I bought the HD rain gaiters when I bought my rain suit a few years ago. Never ended up using them since the boots I bought were so good in the rain.
