I like to see and be seen, so I put them on mine. I think they look good too.

Default Turn Spotlights into Headlights

I am working on a new project where I use an Adjure 4 ½” bucket with headlight adjustments in place of the spotlight mounting (with limited adjustments).
  • The lens (lamp) will be one for a 4 ½” headlight. The finish will be offered powder coated in the color of your bike or chrome.
  • I am using a modulator with photocell as the same on other modulators for daytime use. This separate bulb is activated by using your hi beam handlebar switch.
  • The second duplex bulb (contained in the same base) is a HID 6000 Kelvin 35 watt that is activated by the same switch as your spotlights or included waterproof auxiliary switch.
  • I am working with Adjure on this and will be offered in limited numbers due to the custom colors available. I have tested them and they work great. Photos and testing to follow in a few days. You can not use Harley buckets ads the bucket needs to be longer with a headlight lens (lamp).

I love the extra light and the way the passing lights look on mine. Whenever we ride home after dark they really come in handy as we have no street lights and lots of deer out after dark. The lights are one of the first things I added.

Another quick question for those that have installed the HD passing light kit. It looks like I can use my stock bullet turn signals, just add them to the new style mounts.....am I correct? This is the kit I am talking about.

This is the kit from the P & A catalog.

You are correct. I had mine installed before I picked up the bike. I want to be seen! I wired them to stay on either brights or dim.

The one thing I do not like about the SG front end is the little cheesy lights on the front and nothing more. A Harley Davidson trademark of the FLH is the big driving lights IMO. I put the SE package on mine and love the look.

Yes you can use your stock signals...dont listen to the parts person, most tell you that you need to buy new ones.

I like the look and function of the passing lights...at least on my bike.

Naaa don't like 'em at all.

Personally after having them I don't think they do much at all for seeing at night. I do like the look and the added visibility they add.
