Fits '01-'08 Touring models. Does not fit '01-'07 models equipped with Adjustable Rider Backrests.

If ya got an 09, different story.

I took the mounting bracket for the backrest adjuster off, traced the opening onto the left side deflector, cut it out (tight but it does fit), mounted the thing in the deflector and it looks works great!
Did my buddies bike too.

I didn't have that insight & just mounted the right side deflector. As posted..the issue is the backrest adjuster interferes with the left side deflector location. I didn't think that there would be room to operate the adjuster if tucked behind the left side deflector.

ONEDOWNAND5UP obviously proved me wrong.

On my '07 rebuild , i'm going with the extended side covers instead & a "CVO" style unadjustable backrest mount.

Not to steal a thread but I was wondering why they are standard equipment on '09 if the new exhaust ect. was supposed to reduce the heat issue? I know the answer...........
