Default need to sit lower

Hi guys,

I have a 2002 Electraglide Classic with a stock seat. The bike is a little tall for me. I'd like to sit at least 2" lower. Im not sure what the best way to do this is. I know I can lower the bike but im not sure how the ride would be affected so I was leaning towards a new seat that might work. Anyone have an idea.

Thanks

I have a new uninstalled Burly rear lowering kit that should fit your bike and drop it 1". You can have it cheap ... let me know if interested and I'll send it to you. Frank

Don't know how much you want to invest in time and $ but you can get shorter shocks, and lower your front with a lowering kit for your forks, you can also put lowering blocks on the rear (don't us aluminum use steel) and bluesssman is right a seat mod will make a big diff.

Seat is the easiest & probably the least expensive 1st effort you can try

Go to "Bitching Baggers" website and check out their shock modification...Shocks can be lowered up to 2" with no ride difference(they claim)...I am having mine lowered 1 and 1/2...Should have this week...Will post a review after installing and testing...

Default Mean City Seats

I had them work on my seat for a Honda. They were able to lower the riding height by at least 2" without losing comfort. I recommend them highly.
