RoadGlide: cracks in headlight lens cover

TJ - Replacement of the headlamp bulbs does require removal of the outer fairing. It's not difficult, but having said that, I put almost 50k on my 02 RG & never had a light burn out.

When you took the outer fairing off, how hard was it to get the rubber gasket back in place? (The rubber strip that apparently fits between the inner/outer fairing.) I noticed that mine is actually pulling away at the upper right hand corner and I'm thinking of just gluing it down. It's no big deal but up close, it does cheapen the appearance - and not something I would expect on a $17k bike.

TJ - I know exactly what you're talking about. This never occurred on my 02, but it seems to be common on the newer ones.
It is not difficuly at all. While you have it off, use a dab of shoe-go, silicone, oe something similar to hold it in place.
