TPS Re-Set

TPS Re-Set
When installing my V&H Fuel Pak, the instructions state to reset the TPS to complete the install.
Checking the '09 Service Manual, there is nothing in it (that I can find) that tells you how to reset the TPS. In fact, there is nothing in the manual that says anything about a TPS.
I did some checking on the net and found the below info from a HD Dealership. It's for the '08 touring bikes but I'm assuming it will work for the '09's as well;
Harley-Davidson 2008 Touring models come equipped with a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) which means no more throttle cables. However, factory calibrations have caused some riders to experience a high and/or irratic idle. Should this condition occur, you must reset your TPS. This can be done by cycling through your ignition 4 times, twenty seconds apart. Once you have reset your sensor, a new calibration can be installed, free of charge to prevent to condition from occurring in the future. Please call Service for details at (585) 424-2120
If anyone has any further information on resetting the TPS, please add to this.....
