Default I'm ready for a water cooled touring HD

You know, I might seem a traitor to the cause, but I'm kinda hoping HD will soon produce a water cooled v twin touring scoot.

I've been watchng Honda and a few others as they develop their versions and I'm left wondering why HD ain't doing the same.

We are lacking lots of HP, mpg and reliability by continuing to use air cooled engines on our big assed touring bikes.

Don't shoot me, just please offer your vote and suggestions to my proposal.

It is one of the things that makes the Harley a Harley. For me it wouldn't be the same if it was liquid cooled.

yup if'n I owned a car I spent as much on I'd burn the f---er in the drive cause I no it's lemon and no good to anyone. Yet I stand in line to throw my hard earnd money down for my beloved HD. Go figure. goes to show life can;t always be about sanity.

I agree, buy a Honda if thats what you want. HD is a V TWin, Air cooled, hot MF. It is a legend and a heritage. They will eventually be forced to it, unfortunately. HD are reliable MC's. If you want more HP you can find it anywhere, but it still is not a HD and never will be. Period. HP is not what it is about. Its about the history, its about USA, it is about the soul. You can't replace the history, no matter how much HP they introduce. As far as I am concerned, Hd offers plenty of power for my needs, the reliability is there, and it is the standard. Why do you think they all try to imitate it. Try as they may, they can't compete with father time. Ride safe.

At the dealership today and they had a used Valkyrie (Sp?) on the floor. That thing looked like a two ton gorilla! My bike is heavy enough, scoots me along just fine and dandy the way it is. If they make one, so be it, great. Just hope they can make them without becoming behemoths.

Buy a V-Rod and turn it into a bagger - Water Cooled - 125 hp.
