while my RKC is getting some TLC at the dealer. First of all I had a black Street Glide reserved, but the Rental Dude messed up. The RG I have/rented is bone stock, a 2010 with 2225 miles on it. As most of us know, the RG is the ugly duckling of the Harley family. What I did not like at all was the fairing. All it does is hold a stereo and direct all bugs in my face. What's up with the 1 inch windsheild? Going down the freeway on a 2-l stock muffler at 60/70 mph, forget about listening to the radio. The stock seat is extremely hard. It does corner better than my RKC, but that was the only thing that I have noticed that is "better". And so much for the theory black is faster, my RKC is much faster I don't know what you guys see in a RG,, my .02 worth

Yeah man...I remember hating my mom's Mercedes when my Pinto was in the shop too.

Seriously, the stock windshield is a joke. I installed an 8.5" Klock. As for comfort, I put over 700 miles on it over two days last week and it was an excellent ride. The bat wing and standard wind screens can't compare to the shark nose in a stiff wind.

 

BUT...You are in the wind!! I like the RG, it kinda grows on ya, like single malt Scotch

be sure to wear a full-face lid with a dark shield so nobody knows you're riding that thing. Nothing beats the King!

 

Most that ride them say that they won't ride anything else after the Road Glide. I think you probably like men more than women anyway.

 

stock road glides are not nice to the rider......we tweek our out just like every harley rider..............go ride one that has some personal touches done to it........I'll bet ya you don't come back on here talking all bad about the best harley built.............
