black denim paint -- I swear this is the lowest maint bike color I have had -- ride it -- look at it -- it's clean -- ride some more days -- love the color -- no shine though so you have to like the matte finish look.

Dude, it's my third black bike and it's not that bad, and I'm OCD about it. Just use a quality polish and wax. Hell, I live in Washington and I'm not complaining. I Love black! Shines like no other!!!

I do a complete wipe down once a week, wax it once a month, and wash it only when it is absolutely necessary (basically never).

If you do a quick wipe down after you ride...micro cloth is best in my book...it's really not that bad. I've been doing it this way since I had her and never once scratched the bike (as I knock on wood!)

If you let vivid black go for a while...then it bites you in the a$$. Just stay on top of it and it's no biggy IMHO.

Micro Fiber and Pledge in the summer

Express wash and Mequiars Carnuba in the Winter

That is the fun of a Black Horse.

Enjoying the cold beer after the ride while wiping her down.

Just ride hard

More than any other model, these bikes were meant to RIDE. They're gonna get dirty and they're gonna get dusty. Take pride in you're ride, but don't be a waxer. Ride the thing and enjoy it. Every now and then give it a bath. Then ride it some more. Just my .02 worth.
