Disk lock's are useless. Any theif just uses a torx bit in a cordless drill, and takes the screws out in seconds. Disk is free from rim, and bike is gone. I've seen it done by a repoman.

2009 FLHRC Vivid black
Should have put a lock on that thing when I was 17. It has gotten me in more trouble and cost me more money than any thing else. I have been using a hardened chain and padlock on the bikes. Chain it to somthing solid or another bike. It should slow a down an opportunistic thief. If a pro wants it, it is gone.....

I agree no matter what type of security or locks you have if they want your bike they will get it. That being said a disc lock will keep an honest man honest.
