Drive belt hitting crosspipe

Drive belt hitting crosspipe
I just installed my new jackpot 2-1-2 head pipe and noticed the drive belt was hitting the cross pipe. I disassembled that portion and rotated the cross pipe a bit so it was laying more flat to give the belt clearance. However, once I did that, then my muffler would no longer fit with the angle since the exit of the cross pipe was angled up. I was able to push the pipe down to get the muffler into the crosspipe, but now Im sitting with about 1/8" clearance between the pipe and the drive belt.
Anyone else run into this problem? Im wondering if the exit on the header isnt slightly misaligned causing this issue. I would assume everything is jigged so that cant happen though.
Thoughts?

Hi,
I am riding a Iron 883 2014, and I experienced the same issue as you. My mechanic tighten the drive belt in my case. Now the drive belt although did not touch the drive belt, is very close to it.
I thought of dismantling the whole exhaust starting from the engine. But will wait and monitor the belt for a while.
