Installed FM PCV and bike not running right.

I installed the FM PCV, AC and rineharts. I have been running the rinehart slipons for a few weeks. I just got around to spraypainting the AC Backplate and I installed it tonight. Fired right up so I'm thinking I'm good. I live in a dense neighborhood so I can't hammer it till I get a few blocks away. Once I nail it I didn't really feel any extra pull off the line, as a matter of fact felt slugish. I went around a few blocks to make sure it wasn't going to have an issue and took it up the highway. Only a few miles. By the time im heading home the engine is hotter than it has ever been.

I'm in a tough spot now, Jaime is closed and I know they are moving this week. If I can't get it running right tonight I will have to remove the PCV and AC till I can get some map help.

anyone got ideas.

I do have the software and a laptop but Don't really know what I'm looking at.

Also I am running without the football if that changes anything.

Little more info would be helpful, I am in the garage and have it hooked up right now.

Did you unplug the o2 sensors and use the ones Fuel Moto sent? And make sure you took off the backing plate bracket.

I have completed the installation as it was supposed to be. I installed the eliminators, Installed the AC as it is supposed to be. I need to know more about the TPS setting.

I don't think the 09's need it(TPS setting). It was plug and play.

Some bikes come with program already installed what kind of bike, go to your map and tell me what your values are in the 0 to 50% throttle threw 4000 rpm

GaCracker 06-02-2009 05:53 PM

On the pcv the o2s are bypassed with dead head plugs, did you do that

GaCracker 06-02-2009 05:58 PM

If you think you are running lean (because it seemed hotter) then you want to increase the values if at 10% 1000 rpm you have a 14 put the curser over it and type in 20 do that from 10% throttle to 50% throttle up to 3500 rpm increase values by half before you do this save the map that it has now to a file call it orig. So you now if you want to reinstall. After you have loaded the new settingings drive notice engine temp because you are not on a dyno with gas analyzer. I have oil temp on mine want it under 300.
