there is a center stand on the 07 Ultra I just bought and it sounds like it is a Harley brand , it is adjustable , it is very hard to get up and have never gotten it down with out a push , but like the idea and will have to get it adjusted for me , it will lift the back wheel off the ground good just going to have to drop it down a little , the X owner must have been younger

 

Push back on your backrest, and lift up on the front saddlebag guard on the right side, while holding down on the stand with you foot.

 

I have the centerstand installed on mine. I can put the bike on it while mounted. Its kinda hard to find the peg for it since its hidden under the rear floorboard, I just read in this thread that there is another hole to mount the rear floorboards higher,(gonna have to try that) Anyway, I put the stand so it touches the ground, pull back hard, when the bike stops, I hit the front brake and pull again, it is on the centerstand in 2 attempts everytime. It is not set to lift the rear wheel off the ground, will have to try that. I will also try the dismounted technique described in this thread. Other than the peg being to short to find, I have no gripes about it. I like it because its adjustable, its chrome and it has a grease fitting for lubing.
