Question Who has installed the chrome passenger floorboard cover?

The instructions call for removing the entire passenger floorboard support bracket. But, the screws for the cover drill into the bottom of the floorboard itself. So can you just pull the pins out of the floorboard and remove them and then drill the holes, slap on the covers and re-install the boards and pins and be done???

Why does Harley make everything so damn difficult!!! (I know the answer to this question) lol.

I left everything on, including rubber pads. Just was careful with the drill.

As above, use a sharp drill bit, and go slow.

I followed the directions. NOT a great mechanical feat. Worked out fine.

+1 Follow the directions. Unless you just don't have the 15 seconds to spare to remove them.
