Default RJ ORIGINALS Heat Shields A+

I have had a set of these on my bike almost from day one, today I removed them because I have an oil temp gauge coming that mounts on the valve cover.
I went on a ride today, it was 90 degrees here in Boise and I couldn't believe how much hotter my bike was to ride, it honestly felt like the back of my pant legs where burning my legs.
I guess I will be modifying the heat shield on the RH side to fit around the oil gauge so I can get it back on.
Man I can't express what a differance these shields make in the driveability of the bike.

I know what you mean. I put mine on almost 3 years ago and I haven't taken them off. And I won't. Period. They look as good today as they did when I put them on. Good craftsmanship JR !

Ain't none better than RJs. none of that cheap plastic stuff nor is it a chunk of leather that is just laid over the back of the rear cylinder. works and looks great.

The "chunk of leather" sounds like you are referring to our crotch cooler. But that's OK. It gives me the opportunity to explain. In comparison our crotch coolers look like a chunk of leather. And I am very happy with it. I have mine on my Heritage. It is tooled, looks great, and does a fantastic job in keeping the heat from my thighs due to the big area that is covered up. I am pleased to say that hundreds of customers say the same.

And yes, it lookes like is just laid over the back of the rear cylinder. But it is actually secured by the seat. Isn't that great? That makes it so easy to install. It just takes a minute.

Yes Sir, you were correct with all the above. Thanks for pointing it out.
