I've got a marine Sony radio. 1 wash and it got "Misted" with over spray and the buttons quick working. Sent it back to Crutchfield and got a new one. I think if you hit them directly with water you're gonna have issues. The other option is to get the "Hood" that goes over the radio like a door to be 100%.
