by the same token, don't be lachadaisical, check your tire pressure regularly, and also look at the condition of the rubber.
Check your tire pressure regularly. Hit the nail on the head..
Before every ride . check tires. Your only riding on 2 wheels.

Low air pressure can, on a hard corner low speed or high speed leed to tire roll on rim.
Not good.
Thanks Ace

Don't you just love it when people die because of tire "blowouts" and people turn this situation into "a self serving" issue.

I tried Avons on my Heritage and went back to Dunlops, My 04 RG had Metzlers when I got it, I just spent a lot of money putting Dunlops on the RG and it's much better.

I too think this lawyer is trying to get others to do his job for him

I wonder if the tires were inflated properly. Wasn't that the biggest part of the problem with the Firestones and Ford Explorers???

harley and dunlop are aware of their tires sidewalls cracking and splits across the tread. don't know about sudden air loss, but i've seen some bad new tires out there. harley has warrented two of my tires with only 2300 miles on them due to cracking and splits. they were so bad i wouldn't ride it any longer and what really sucks is the new ones are doing the same thing within 3000 miles.

Maybe it is time to stop listening to ambulance chasing sleezebag lawyers.

TV is flooded with commercials for this type of $hit, now we get it here too...

But I`m sure that sleeze lawyer is happy to see this posted.

Yeah, I'm sure that was the case back in 2009 when this was posted. LOL
