Street Glide owners take note (at least the '09 & up owners), if you put the saddlebag guards that Harley calls for (the single rail vertical ones) on your bike, the antenna mount is relocated and it winds up pushing against the underside of the rear facia. Essentially it the base of the antenna is higher (towards the sky, if you will) than the old position and it fits like crap and looks like crap. Trust me, there is no other way to mount it because it's a one-position-only location. I could cut, lower it, re-weld it, powdercoat it and remount it, but that's a real Harley design fk-up if there ever was one.
At some point I see it stress cracking that rear facia, it's that jammed against it. Just beware if you're going to do this. We have both the radio and the CB antenna on her SG and they're both so tight against the facia that the rubber grommet is distorted.
Food for thought.
