Your right it takes MUCH longer to write up than install. Did mine about 6 months ago. Works great.

Has anyone found, or tried to find, the corresponding plug for the existing one on the scoot?
I know there proly were a few different ones used over the years but whoever carries one will proly carry others.
If so, where'd you find it? Don't say try Radio Shack, they don't carry any automotive stuff.

I think it is the same as my Street Glide. If so it is on the left side as you set on the bike. Remove the side cover & you should see the plug towards the front of the bike, plugged into a dummy plug. There is a spot for the HD to clip right on. Still trying to find the correct plug to do a proper conection?
