If you get a backrest, I think you will like it. I can ride for hours with mine....without, my back hurts. Of course age (59) and a bad disk don't help. But love the backrest!

i really like my streetglide. that's a huge jump in size. remember to be very careful at parking lot speeds, that front brake can throw you off balance, and once it starts going over, it's almost impossible to stop the momentum. one piece of valuable advice with the streetglide, please leave the crash bars on. i was heading home from a short trip to remove the crash bars. just so happens that i ended up off canter and used the front brake while at walking speed, and over it went. the crash guard kept it from getting any damage, in the lawn. i learned a good lesson that day. my 200# cannot stop 880# from going over once it goes beyond a certain angle. stay off the front brake at walking speeds unless you're pointed pretty straight. great looking bike, and congratulations. you got harleys fast color too.

I liked my Deuce, the only regret I have about my Street Glide is I didn't make the switch a couple of years ago.
