Default Question for those with leather RKC bags

Do you always make sure that your bags are fastened closed and the strap tucked into the loop? I've had my bike for about a year, and for the first several months, I always made sure they were latched and tucked in. But I've been getting a little lazy lately, and just closing the lids and letting the straps hang loose. But I'm finding that it's making the warp in a straight-downward direction. Just wondering what others do...

Always keep them closed at the clip. The buckles flopping in the 70 mph breeze will beat the crap out of the bags.

If your leaving them open at the belt buckle, that just tells the whole world they are open, come look inside..

Always latched and tucked in at all times. One fussy owner/rider on my previous RKC, but am certainly glad I went with Ultra and it's hard bags.

Latched and tucked in all the time.

It's certainly no big job to do it right.
