Default mufflers 09 ultra classic

Just purchased a 09 ultra classic. New Harley owner and new to hdforum. Very excited!! It has stock exhaust on it. Just wondering others opinion on what to install. I talked to fuelmoto this morning about jackpot dynotuned exhaust and am leaning this way, just wanted to get some others opinions. Of course purchasing a harley I wanna make some noice so I just want to make sure I am gonna be satisfied with these. He talked about competitive baffles if I wanted more noise. thanks in advance for any info.

You'll get a million different responses here, but I went with Rinehart true duals. You probably don't need to go T/D with yours as I've heard the headpipes are now much better at creating torque. So I'd consider Rinehart slip-ons. But there are MANY people here who've went with the whole fuelmoto package and are very happy with the results. Just don't know if you'll get as much noise from them as you say you're looking for.

I tried 3 different sets of slip-ons before I found what I wanted. I was looking for something louder than stock, but not so loud that I couldn't hear the radio.

I have the Jackpot Dyno Tuned with the tunable quiet baffle. For me, these are plenty loud with the "insert" out and plenty quiet with the "insert" in. Depending on the mood I'm in and what kind of riding I'm doing, I can put the insert in or take it out in about 2 minutes from the back of the right muffler. I like this flexibility. To be honest, I have "customized" the insert slightly to get just a bit more sound with it installed.

The best thing to do is listen to other bikes and see what you like. Youtube don't count.

I'm very happy with the Jackpot's with 2" baffles. Welcome to the forum!
