Default For those with solo seats

Wondering if anyone here has experience with the C&C solo seat? How comfortable is it? Did you opt for the backrest? I would like a little lower back support as an option for those longer trips. Is the 500 dollar entry price worth it to you?

I dont find the stock seat uncomfortable but I want some custom stitching done, so I am considering the C&C. Anyone know how much custom design stitching costs?

For those with something else that matches my criteria (solo + backrest) let me know, I'd love to see other options.

Thanks

I love mine. I got the plain one, without stitching, because I get rained upon, and do not want it soaking in. I ordered my seat late one Thursday, and had the seat eight days later. That is excellent service, and an excellent price, also. It is very comfortable, and I love the look. I did not order a backrest, because on long trips, I pop on my tour pak.

I can't ride without lower back support anymore. I got an Ultimate and am very happy with it.

Love my C&C solo with backrest. Worth every penny. They also give 10% discount to forum members. Just had them make me a custom pillion for when the wife rides with me.

Cuda: could you post a pic with the backrest on? You can PM me if you can't get to it for a few days. Thanks.

Thanks, man. Since you asked about comfort..... I searched this forum before I bought mine, looking for people who weren't happy with theirs. Only found a couple of people who didn't like theirs. Everyone else was happy. I love mine. I will say that it's a very firm seat, but very comfortable to me. So if you like a really plush seat, there's a chance you may not like them. But, they will take them back. And as I said, Chuck offers the discount to forum members. They also move you down, and back a little. The backrest is also adjustable fore and aft.
