You can see the rear wheel even with the bags. I did both. If you cant afford both, the solid chrome rear wheel would work. How much would you be spending on a chrome rear wheel?

Default Solid Rear wheel

I have been running a Chrome Solid Fatboy rim on the back of my SG. I guess I am one of the ones that believe you can't see much of it at all so why spend another 500.00 plus dollars over and above the solid Harley wheel. I have a Renegade wheel up front. My bike has 10 3/4 shocks in the back so there's not much to see as far as the rim is concerned. Your call though.

I am running the Roland Sands Contrast Cut Judge wheel up front and I had a Fat Boy wheel powdercoated black for the rear and I can't even begin to tell you how many people have complimented my "matching wheels" on my bike. I think a lot of it has to do with size and style of the wheels you are using. For some of us cost does actually matter!

About $1,500 per wheel. That doesn't include installation.

Default L@@king for a solid rear wheel

I put the HD 18' Reaper on the front (no matching wheel available for the rear) - it's a new wheel for early FLHX - it's actually a V-rod wheel. I was told.

Now I need to find something that works with that wheel so I am looking at the mirror solid chrome rear and leaving it at 16 to keep it lowered.

Does anyone have the solid whell? If so send me a photo or link to a photo.
