I had an issue with my ET Sensor, just replaced it and now that seems fine... My engine light would come on intermittently and blow out black smoke..

One issue I am still having is when I hit the throttle pretty hard the engine light comes on. It goes off once the throttle is back to normal. It does it in neutral also, not just under a load. Anybody have any idea why this might happen? The bike seems to be running fine now.

 

Check your plug wires and make sure they are on tight or a new set of plugs.
