Default Flash2Pass Garage Door Opener HELP!

ok got this thing from Eastern Performance...Cheap and effective. Pulled fairing last night, hooked it up, 10 minutes at most. TESTED it SEVERAL times before buttoning it all back up. Worked fine with two cycles of high beam switch.... Went to go out for a bit today, tried flashing the hi-beams twice to open the door...nothing...Started the bike...the phucking door opens...shut the bike off, started it again...the door closes. Called F2P and left a message, thought I'd ask here before I take the damn thing apart again (in about 5 minutes)

sounds like you wired it to the low beams instead of the high beams?

Bingo..got a call fro Chris..F2P...said the wiring for Road GLides was different. I had the two outside wires on the plug like the directions showed...needed the black and tan wires..Switched em and works as it should..Thanks for the help.. After installing this product and getting a smoking deal ($59.95 SHIPPED) from Eastern Performance I can highly recommend it as a good inexpensive and QUICK solution for a remote garage door opener.

How do you get the Flash2Pass to sync up with your garage door opener?

you don't sync anything. They give you another garage door opener That you can either replace your exsting one with or splice into existing opener's wire and add the additional opener. I spliced it in so I could keep the original with the light button. The receiver they send only has 1 button.

BDMike - Glad you got it figured out, hope now when you close the door from inside the garage the bike doesn't start.
