This stuff works great www.lastotallyawesome.com $1 a bottle at Dollar General stores. Works great on bugs and other grime. Best $1 you'll ever spend on your HOG.

+2 been doing this for years and years. Now all my riding partners do it too. Cheap, effective, and always available. You can use it full strength without any problems.

the 50/50 mix of hydrogen piroxide works on all your surfaces. you can also use a fabric softner sheet. dunk it in your wash bucket and wipe away. when wiping the bigs away, it creates a lather and gets the more stubborn bugs and bug residue.

+ 3 on the wet towel. I'm not into Spraying mystery solutions of crap on my bike after my last episode of loosing half the paint on my engine.
I figure it's build to handle water. Let a wet towel soak on the fairing for 10 minutes..the bugs melt off.
No scratch inducing rubbing needed. Easy on me, and easy on the paint. The End.

I've found a hot towel for a few minutes loosens them up, then I clean mine with Plexus. It has always worked for me.

McGuires final detailer or final inspections on a micro fiber towel works wonders. Just spray on bike and wipe off. I use it on the entire bike to get all the dust, bugs and road grime off. Plus I carry it in the saddle bag, so its always with you.
