Default Looking for Supertrapp exhaust tips. And some questions...

When I bought my Electra Glide, it came with 3 1/2" Supertrapp Kerker slip-ons. I'm just fine with the sound and performance, but the guy that had it before had the "turndown/turnout tips" on them, and must have buggered them up, so he cut them off about 1-2" behind the slip-ons. They look horrible, but I've been trying not to think about it. Well, I've thought about it too much, and it's time to replace them now!

Do new tips come with the three mounting screws? One of my tips has zero screws in it, and I still can't get the tip off! Are they that hard to get off?

Were is the best/cheapest place to find Supertrapp tips? I've been looking around and it seems Dennis Kirk is about the cheapest, but they don't have many instock. I don't really care which tips I get, as long as they're not hack-sawed off!

Thanks.

Well, I don't know where the cheapest place to get tips is.

But, I know I had a dickens of a time getting my "piston" style tips off. Had to use a rubber mallet and tap oppisites sides back and forth to get it off.

When I re-installed them I made sure I applied anti-seize. Hope it helps.

I have Screamin Eagles with end caps. Those buggers are HARD to get on and off. That just might be why the PO cut them off instead of replacing them.
