Default Few Pics and projects done today~shock~Battery~Flash2Pass

Did a little of this and that today...I took TexasBowhunters advice on the rear shock oil change, I put Amzoil 10wt. I took it for a ride I am pleased w/ the results. I used a make~shift press to drain and put fluid back in. Thought maybe you may be interested how some folk work around their bike

I put a new Deka Battery in paid $79 at a Battery Warehouse bike turns over a little quicker

Installed a Flash2Pass garage door opener $62...while I was in there I saw the left Fairing Bracket was Broke

Went around and tightened most bolt that were visible

I plan on changing the Fork oil before buttoning the "Old Steed"

Nice job and bike! Can you give a couple of details about the F2P installation?

Sure, on the F2P I bought it on line and they make it so elementary it ridiculous. On the bike it is less than 5 minutes once the outer fairing is off, the instructions are spot on and will work with any garage door opener. Tap into 2 wires with the fittings they supply with no cutting, you see the 2 blue fitting...thats what they supply.

In the Home you either take your original wall mount push button opener and replace with the opener they supply (easiest way, 5 min. job), with just 2 wires to hookup and mount over the old spot, or in my case I am mounting it close to the garage door itself and leaving the entrance/passage door into the home in tact (being mine has a lock button) so that I can reach around to the inside frame from the outside and push the button to close manually without walking threw the garage to close. I was surprised how easy...it is so easy even a Caveman can do it. I am not a Caveman per-say but I am pretty close once home (mancave).

Some good tips on the bike, but I also enjoyed the 'shop' pics. My guess is about 24x36 or perhaps even 30x40 or so with 2nd floor storage. However, for PA I think I would have insulated it a bit! However, there does appear to be some standing timber for wood heat seen through the window....

Yeah, I am w/ ya on the insulation thing...Looking around the photo I agree it is kinda cool to look around the photo to see what all is sitting around and through the window. The building is 45x60 you just can't see a all that much of it, definitely a mancave. We do heat with wood. I am blessed or is it spoiled? I wouldn't mind if some others would post some pic's of there mancave on here.

The performance with the 10 wt seemed to me to be just fine. I had 8 psi of air in where normally 15 psi
