Default What to do with license plate?

My cousin just got his RKC painted and he went with hard bags and Klock Work saddlebag filler strips and removed the rear fender emblem at the bottom of the fender for a clean looking rear. He also removed the rear "towel bar" that the original license plate mounts to. Now he can't decide what to do with the license plate. He doesn't want it mounted under the tail light but can't think of where to put it. I suggested a custom bracket under the rear fender. Whats your thoughts?

I used to have my plate mounted with a Softbrake mount which relocates to under the tail light. It's a decent enough piece, made out of stainless. It sandwiches itself between the fender and the tailght housing.

I have since gone to an under bag mount from Intermountain Cycle Products. If the bike in question is running a 2-1 pipe, nothing cleans up the back like this mount IMO.
