i'm looking for slip ons for my 2009 rkc. has anyone one this forum tried the bassani flh 509. i'm told that bassani makes a good product. the ones that i'm interested in are 4" pipes with a 2" flow thru. i'm wondering about the type of sound and loudness that they put out. thanks, norm

 

I had the FLH-517 with the 4" megaphone and 2.5" baffle. They sounded really good. They have a nice deep sound to them.

 

I've been running Bassani on my last three bikes, all have been true duals, there a superior product in my opinion and they have a deep throaty sound (not to be confused with Linda Lovelace). I'm sure the slip-ons are equally as good, can't go wrong in my opinion

 

I have the 509s with the small baffle, 2 inch but you can get larger 2.5 I believe. Not too loud, nice on the highway, not too quiet. Not as deep as I would have liked but overall I am happy. Good chrome and quality materials. I wanted a 4 inch diameter muffler for a beefy look out back. These are pretty long as well, extend back farther than most. Good Luck
