Try Big City Thunder. com. I just installed baffles from there in my V&H slip ons. If you phone them and ask I'm sure they can tell you what you need to know.
R u sure the baffles are not removable. All the Rineharts that I have seen do, you take off the caps and pull em out.
Im not sure. I know I have removed the end cap and tried pulling out the baffles. Maybe mine are rusted in, or just really tight. I know with the Vance and Hines I had the baffles came out with the end caps.
I have Rhinehart slip on's which dont have removable baffles, and the baffles arent packed. Anyone know of a way to quiet these down a bit?
Well, you could swap them for my Screamin Eagle 98b's.
I was sitting at a traffic light in a cage with my OL today, behind a RK with Rineharts. I rolled down the window so I could hear the bike pull away and mentioned to her how good those pipes sound.
I think the suggestion to double check to see if you can get the baffles out is good advice. You can spray pb blaster down into the pipes, let it sit for awhile and try to pull them out. Keep trying, they should come out.
why would u want to get rid of your rineharts those mufflers sound good. and they are quiet as long as u dont jump on it i would keep them if i was u and just buy something less noisy. just my 2 cents
Man I owned Rineharts, hated them on so many levels it wasn't funny. Too loud, made the bike run like ****. Of course I had the true duals. Baffles should be removable and I believe the trick when I had mine was to pack them with muffler glass. It helps some but not a lot.
Well the problem I have is I have a pull behind trailer, and the exhaust note echoes off the front of the trailer. So, will these baffles slid out? What do you use, a slide hammer?
