I've been rinding for about 27 years.
This is my first Harley and first touring bike.
I traded in a Suzuki V-Strom 650. Quite a change!

Bought my first one about a year ago 2010 Street Glide. First Harley was a 2009 V-Rod Muscle. Before that was sport bikes.

I've been riding for over 10 years now and this is my first touring. I picked up my '14 SGS last weekend and traded in my '05 Deluxe.

This is a nice upgrade.....

Just bought my first American 2008 Ultra Classic about a month ago. I rode Hondas till now, still have my 1980 Goldwing that's been in the family since it was purchased new by my father. Going Harley is a whole different world entirely, from sound to ease of working on the bike. My first Harley related purchase after the bike itself was the Electrical and Service manuals, a wealth of information and boy does it answer a lot of questions about the bike. I highly recommend them both to anyone owning a Harley.

When I sit on the Honda I feel like a pretzel all twisted and mostly uncomfortable. Yeah, I know there is a 28 year difference between the two bikes, but the Hondas were made for smaller framed people. On a Harley you sit naturally upright and your feet have floorboards, not pegs to rest on.
I can't say enough good about Harley, what a bike!

Every time I worked on the Honda, I had to unbolt unrelated parts to get at the one I was trying to work on. That just isn't so with Harley, their foresight in engineering is outstanding. Also many parts from different years and bikes are interchangeable, try doing that with an import!

Coming off of a 09 Low Rider, a pretty capable touring bike with bags and a windshield. But always loved the Road Kings, so now I have a 2014 RK sitting in my garage with 1/10 of a mile on it just waiting for all this snow to melt.

Been riding again for about 11 years after a long break.
Bought my first Harley and first touring bike last year - love riding it!
No need to keep the old Vulcan 1600 so I passed her along to someone else.

Used to ride, but hadn't for over 25 years. Bought my first Harley, a '14 SGS, almost two months ago. Been loving it, in between snow and Arctic cold!
