I usually like to putt around at or near 5500 RPM. Seems smoothest there. Tried lower (4500 - 5000) and didn't like it as well.

09 UC Stage 1 with SEPST--

At its best for me around 2800-3500. I like to keep it around the early/middle of the torque curve give or take a few hundred revs.

It is called "lingering in the left lane" It is the law in many states and the Federal Dot is pushing all states to adopt it. Don't even think of doing it in Europe unless you like jail.

'06 here with 5 speed and 88. Running anywhere from 2800-4000. Spend several hours around 4000 rpm on the interstate. Rest of the time its more in the 2800-3200 range. Seems to handle the 85/90mph no problem. And, its not close to red line, so it better do it all day without a problem.....

24K-28K around town.
30K-32K freeway (80+mph)

I have great low end power now with the true dual conversion and power cones.

I ride anywhere from 2800 and above. There are sometimes when I just like to have it in the higher RPM range just to hear the exhaust tone. I hardly ever have it lower than 2800.
