Frogg Toggs are reasonably priced and work well.
The motorcycle style is the "Road Toad".
Pack small. Never have them when it rains though...

BMW Rain suit is the best one piece I've ever had for heavy downpours. Tour Master (top and bottom) is not bad. In Texas summers just get wet and dry off in about 10 minutes after rain stops.

HD Gore Tex - Why? Because it has kept me dry in every type of rain for 10 years now in the same suit. It doesn't make me hot because it breathes. When I went to Alaska it doubled as an oversuit when I rode through crap. When I got to the campground, I just got in the shower with it on and rinsed it off. Yes, it's pricey, but so is replacing your suit over and over again if you go cheap. Plus, on the one day the cheap suit fails, it sucks!

I use the HD GoreTex also, had it for at least 7yrs now. Realize it's expensive but if you get it off season or online its a little cheaper. Use the pants instead of chaps when its cold, one less thing to pack for trips.

I have the HD Overpass II and it works very well but is bulky and takes up most of a saddlebag. I've thought about selling it and buying a less bulky set.

Hey OP, let us know what you decided and WHY? Curious to see after all the info you get here what drives your decision, if you don't mind.

I just got the HD Hi-vis. The next week rode in Ride for Sight in a deluge! Wet feet (gotta figure that one out) and gloves. Other than that bone dry. Helped ot was a warm day. But after that experience I need some help with eyewear. I was looking through fog. What's working for others?
