...............
I know, I should have told her BUT, I subscribe to the theory of it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask for permission..............
Dude, is this your 1st wife? She probably won't be your last one, if you have a habit of spending $20,000 without even talking to her.
Sometimes you don't get forgiveness, sometimes you get divorce papers.
Dude, congrats on the new scoot. I see you settled for the faster color too, good choice. I love my King, can't see riding anything else.
As for the friends wife, if he told her, and she ratted you out, that friend would be the last to find out what I'm doing if it were me.
So you went from scared to mad? lol j/k Enjoy the new ride. Oh BTW, how did the wife handle it after she asked about the color?
Well, shes loved it. But I think I shot myself in the D**K because now she's making plans to ride with me for the next three weekends out. I think this is her revenge.
Heck, my wife knows I'm going to pick up a new bike and when I bring it home she cries and says she isn't going to ride on it. But who is in the garage later sitting on it.
I never ever want to put myself in a position of begging for anything, especially from my wife. I don't care if it is easier than asking for permission.
BTW, you had the chance to break the news to her, you decided to beg for forgiveness instead.
Made me laugh. Did something similiar and thought I had nads. Now you have nads. I was trying to sell my old bike before buying a new one and had the wifes ok. Found a deal I could not pass up on a Road King before I sold the old one. Eventually sold the old bike after a few months of fantasizing about keeping both. Wife has not been on the new bike yet and I'm not complaining. She'll crack eventually though. Congrats!
