Distance yes time no. My girlfriend is not going to log 12 hour days on the slab. I used to ride everywhere now i have to choose my battles. If it comes to choosing riding alone vs trailering and having her on vacation with me that's a no brainer.

Never heard a negative word from her and she's really new to bikes
Glad she likes riding... makes for a great trip.

I am beginning to care less and less for riding on the interstates on my bike.
In and around Birmingham, for example, bikers get ZERO respect from most cages and big trucks. I plan and avoid the slabs on my bike as much as I can, others may do as they wish, whatever.

He was right, dead right, as He sped along, but He's just as dead as if He were wrong".

I doubt that anyone cares how someone gets there or if they go at all. The fact is there are many riders that ride their bikes all over. A lot of them go to the rally but a lot don't. I bought my bikes to ride all over the place. The rally is just a stop over on a trip to many places. In this case I can't use a trailer because going back to get it would not allow me the time it takes to make the trip. There is a lot to be said for motorcycle trips. It's a way of life unknown to many. A truck and trailer trip is a truck and trailer trip, not a motorcycle trip. It has little to do with the rally itself.
