LED Lights on a 2010 StreetGlide
I am no Thomas Edison and can barely get a Christmas tree to light up so help me with some basic LED info. I want to replace the incandescent bulbs used in the front turn signals and the rear running/turn signal/brake lights on my 2010 StreetGlide. Looked at the bulb chart in the Service Manual and find only the Harley part numbers. Are these just bulbs that can be replaced with LEDs from like AutoZone or auto supply store? Can I just "plug and play" with LEDs or will I need some sort of switch or relay or some other thingamabob? The existing bulbs look like 1137 but have no number on them.

Check out Badlands Motorcycle Products. Give them a call and they will hook you up with a set of the Radianz led lights and a load equalizer that is easy plug-n-play.

The first thing to get , if you want to do this properly is the badlands illuminator module.
http://www.badlandsmotorcycleproduct...cts/BETCSM.htm
This just plugs in to your harness under the seat and takes care of the proper load equalizing for the flasher and security module needs.
Then choose good quality led boards (not auto zone bulbs) from radiantz , ride time technology,no magic neon , etc.
These are 36-68 led assemblies that are "bright" and high quality for your turn signal needs.
These led assemblies flash on and off instantly and will be seen better by other traffic.
The badlands module will convert the rear turn signals to stop/turn/run lights so you will have to choose clear, smoked,or red rear lenses with this conversion.
If you go with a led rear brake light assembly , there is nothing special you need for proper operation.
There are other ways to go , but this setup will work simply , properly , and perform best on your bike from what I've seen and experienced myself.
