Pics of my fatboy bagger
Hello guys I have some before and after pics of my fatboy bagger. Everyone ask why didn't you just buy a street glide. Well here is the story. When I married my wife 12 years ago I always wanted a bike and she never wanted to hear it. She said bikes are to dangerous, my brother has a tricked out street glide and my dad has a beautiful streetglide trike. I would always go to the Harley dealer and look at the bikes and say one day I will have one but she didn't want to here it. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 4 years old now I am 40. So last year around fathers day she called me from work and told me she saw a nice bike for sale parked in town that I need to go look at it. I told here what is the use and she said go get your dad and go look at it. So my dad and I looked at the bike and he asked if I liked it,I told him it was nice but whats the use. He told me that my loving wife told him if I liked the bike that she would buy it for me for fathers day from my 3 boys. I thought to myself yea right, so the day before fathers day my dad called and said come take a ride with me. we went back to the bike to look it over again and he began talking to the guy that owned the bike and he told the guy we will take it, he then pulled out a envelope and began counting out the money. I asked him what he was doing and he told me this is your fathers day present from your wife and 3 boys. So here are some pics from the day I bought it to now. I installed the new 21" wheel on the front, the hard bags and the fairing. Then I ordered the bag extensions and stretched rear fender from baddad and painted it myself. Now I am trying to match the graphics because the guy I got the bike from didn't keep the paint codes,he just said it's candy orange. I am getting ready to order a set of true duals. I posted some pics on the softail fourm but I don't think they like the idea of a softail bagger because I didn't get much response. thanks guys
