I put these on my 2006 StreetGlide this year and could not be happier. These bars are perfect for me.

I went with +6 on all cables from Magnum. Ran the wires internal. Looks sweet. I did run into 1 small issue. I did not plan on replacing hte lower brake lines so I just bought the upper. The cable from MAgnum did not match the stock connector. I had to replace the lower brake lines as well. Not a big deal - looks better now too.

I can sit straight up and my arms are parallel. I do not have to lean forward to reach the stock bars and I no longer have back pains after an hour.

I would not recommend the ergo bars. 1- these are very expensive and 2 - they will NOT get your hands up that high.

I got the fat apes for 1/2 the price of the ergos. I had 2 buddies that tried the ergos and both took them off almost immediately. These are not worth the $250 plus.

I added pics in the previous post.

Guess I'll revive this old thread.

I just put the 12" 300315 on my bike but haven't had a chance to test them yet, but the one thing I noticed is that I lost the use of the fairing mirrors. I can only see a small portion of the bottom of the mirror. Maybe I'll need to readjust thee bars...don't know yet, but there's not much room for adjustment forward. I should have everything done and post better pics.

Wiring them wasn't bad...just take your time. I also used the SE TBW which made it easier.

Hey, ramnj, where in NJ are you? I'd like to see your set-up.

I'm thinking about the Khrome Werks 12" Fat Ape Hangers (300315), too.

I'm 6'1"/35" sleeve. I would like my hands in a neutral position, somewhere near the top of the fairing (but still behind the fairing). I would also like my hands back a few inches from the stock position.

Can you post some front and side shots of your bars?

Thanks.
